FishNet Security Closes 2010 With Record Revenue and Earnings

Key Partnerships and Expanded Service Offerings Result in Top Line  Growth of Over 30% With Revenue Topping $300 Million in 2010

FishNet Security, the nation's leading provider of information security solutions that combine technology, services, support and training, announced record growth in 2010 revenue and earnings. Expanding their services and technology portfolios allowed FishNet Security to add over 600 new customers to their 5000+ customer base. FishNet Security's 30% revenue growth pushed them well over the $300 million revenue mark for 2010.

"2010 was a year of records for us at FishNet Security," says Gary Fish, CEO. "The hard work we did in 2009 while the economy was sputtering really paid off in 2010. All lines of business and regions performed very well and that momentum has continued into 2011. We are well positioned for continued growth with a solid foundation to support it."

FishNet Security's fastest growing service offering, Managed Services, recognized 70% growth over 2009. By combining forces with Symantec and establishing a strong SIEM offering, FishNet Security was able to expand into multiple new verticals. New product launches with FireMon (firewall managed service) and Whitehat (web application scanning service), further served to expand growth in this market. FishNet Security's Managed Services team wrapped up 2010 with a new release of their web portal (2.0) that includes multiple enhancements for the end-user.

FishNet Security's Training Services, formerly Secure Skills, experienced 40% growth in 2010 while expanding their course offerings with key partners Juniper Networks and F5 Networks. Also assisting to the rapid growth were new partnerships with 7Safe and Palo Alto Networks. In addition to completing its first global security awareness implementation in 8 different languages, FishNet Security Training Services also launched new interactive flash-based security awareness courseware available in 12 different languages.

Other Key FishNet Security Service Highlights Include:

  • 24x7 Support offering added Riverbed Technology to its partner portfolio in 2010 and experienced strong growth with both Juniper and Blue Coat
  • Expansion of Sales Engineer division to include regional management and more focused SE expertise leads to extended coverage and support
  • Completion of National Lab in St. Paul, MN representing over 15 partners and over 50 different technologies
  • Completion of McAfee interlock Lab to be used for demos and Proof of Concepts for FishNet Security customers
  • Established Mobility relationships with both McAfee and Juniper focused on device management solutions
  • Established Mobility relationship with Good Technology focused on device protection

In addition to strong services growth, FishNet Security's relationship with best-of-breed technology manufacturers allowed for strong growth in product sales in 2010. New partnerships formed with Damballa, FireEye, Good Technology, and Centrify further enabled the 30% product resell growth experienced in 2010.

FishNet Security also continued to establish themselves in the infrastructure space throughout 2010, with a growth rate over 300% and national recognition from partners such as Brocade and Juniper Networks. By partnering with their information security peers within the organization, FishNet Security's National Infrastructure Team was able to expand its reach into all verticals and establish key enterprise account wins.
